Cute place and well maintained, I could smell the clean before I even walked in, nice size fridge , coffee maker and microwave. Beds were clean and comfortable, they even allowed our two medium size dogs to stay in the room with us for no additional charge. Thank you!

Quaint hotel with small town service!! Rooms were pristine and what an affordable price! Staff goes the distance to make sure you're comfortable and are very knowledgeable about the town and local area. It was so peaceful and serene as you are surrounded by wildlife preserves. Excellent stay for the outdoor enthusiasts! Will be back again!!

For a town that has two hotels and one of them is permanently closed (fort bend is closed) they had an opening day of. They were kind, rooms were big and clean no bed bugs or fleas (I checked even though it didn’t look like it needed checked). Overall it’s worth the call to book a room. For $66 bucks you cannot beat it.

My wife and I and three fur babies have been traveling around for the past 3 years come across this place and been here for at least 7 months great rooms great service clean the greatest staff we've ever dealt with they love our fur babies and they love my wife they always keep an eye on her make sure she's okay considering she's disabled never had any problem with any bugs drama or any issues whatsoever by far five star if I could give a 10 star we would!

Great people but I got eat literally alive by bed bugs.... Had to cancel the rest of trip because I had an allergic reaction.

So I came here and stayed for work. Working at Bent county correctional facility. The owners were friendly BUT and it's a big but.... the room I was given wasn't a kitchenette like I was told I would get like my coworkers had a kitchenette an I got just a small room with a microwave. The room was bad you don't get wifi in it and you're lucky to get wifi anywhere on the property really....it seemed to me they pay for wifi for themself in the main lobby where they live but the guests didn't get it. The window in my room was broken an wouldn't open an had no curtain so once the sun is up you are too because it beats down on your face, the bed is directed toward it. We were told we would get housekeeping once a week. We didn't even get that...not once did a housekeeper knock on our door and ask if we need anything. But I heard them knocking on the neighbors doors. So we had to go out the way to ask for things like tp or clean sheets. And then we felt like it was a burden an they were annoyed when we would ask so we started cleaning THEIR blankets at a coin operated laundry site near by. Which is also where we went if we wanted wifi...because there is no cell phone reception for Verizon in Las Animas apparently...and they dont provide good wifi at all..so you had to leave to get any type of signal or wifi..so after asking for toilet paper 2 or 3 times because again they never would service our room we were told that because we are staying for a month we have to provide our own tp.....WHAT? it was outrageous to be honest. I had to go buy a swiffer mop to clean our room because they never made any attempts. And not to mention there was druggies living there that would be outside of your room talking to themself and hanging out over by the vending machines making us not want to even go use them. We were here a month and pretty much got the youre on your own kind of thing from the owners. They were nice people to talk to but they ran the place terribly and didn't seem to take any interest in their guests needs or make the stay comfortable. Never have I had a hotel tell me if I stay a month I'm on my own with amentities. You'll find good conversation with Maurice and Anna they are very nice. But if you want wifi or a hotel that will service you if you stay long then go to La Junta. Because this is the only place to go hotel wise in Las animas.

Morris and Brenda turtle were the friendly people I ever met at the motel ..it was nice and clean..the room service we quick ..and it was also busy . and there was always had availability going on..Iive in Lincoln Nebraska for time being.....
