Era una de las casas que contratamos en el camino,el señor Juan muy simpático su señora muy simpática pero nos sentimos un poco mal, la habitación muy bonita la casa preciosa siii pero en el desayuno y la cena.... Ese día caminábamos 28 kilometros y nos ponen el desayuno tarde no a las 8 como nos dicen y solo tostada con unas tarrinas de mermelada, el café y el zumo,Le pedimos algo de embutido y nos dicen que no tienen, Le pedimos algo de fruta y gracias a que nos la dieron los 4 señores extranjeros no tuvieron tanta suerte, le pido una naranja y me dice que no tiene que las que le quedan son para el zumo, bueno me dio un platanito, por lo bonita la recomiendo pero si vas a hacer el camino no la recomiendo... Para hacerle tienes que desayunar muy bien y tener energía, al final nos paramos en una cafetería del camino...

Casa muy abandonada, la puerta arañada por el perro y una necesidad imperiosa de pintura.|El "jardín", por llamarlo de alguna forma, lleno de malas hierbas que llegaban a la cintura.|La piscina con el agua verde y llena de topos y ratones muertos.|En una de las habitaciones un escarabajo.|Sin tv en las habitaciones.|En el salón una televisión bastante antigua, con el mando lleno mugre.|Los dueños agradables

This casa rurale has the potential to be lovely. Old house, beautiful views, a good bedroom and family run. However it's in the middle of nowhere so the owners have to pick up and drop people back to the Camino, and their time keeping is appalling. Plus when you ring to check when they're coming they lie, even when asked in Spanish. They're well known for it at Casa Morgade, our pick up place. It took them two and a half hours from our first call despite promises of 'an hour' and 'ten minutes'. Our pick up, when he finally arrived in his small car, was complete with two year old grandson. And back, driven by his wife, it was a fast, white knuckle ride in the middle of the road. I prayed I had some credit in heaven from walking the Camino! Breakfast is meagre, the water in the bathroom was tepid. On the plus side the dinner was tasty. They charged us 101'€. Not recommended indeed if you're booked here on a tour, change it.

Because of the previous review, we were a bt apprehensive about our stay here, but we need not have worried.||We phoned from Portomarin, and after a slightly tricky start, the young lady who speaks english told us when we'd be picked up. The pickup was on time. Our room was lovely - plenty of space, and the en-suite had a bath and shower. While it's true that the owners don't speak english, they had prepared a sheet of paper in english with all the things we needed to know on it, including the choice of evening meal, and asking us what time we wanted dinner. The dinner was good, although one of us who is vegetarian wasn't so happy with the tortilla. As is the norm in the rural hotels, breakfast was served to us, rather than buffet, but it was plentiful, with lots of fresh fruit, and plenty more to eat. ||||A jolly good overnight stay.

O'Foilebar is a small Guest House with bags of history going back to Celtic Spain. The story of the place is fascinating, but the Spanish owners have limited command of English, making it difficult to fully appreciate unless you have some Spanish. The setting is rural and very quiet and the family are eager to please. Food is home cooked and comforting rather than exotic but breakfast is meagre. The main downside is their time keeping. They are prepared to pick up guests on the Camino from Sarría, Portomarin and the tiny hamlet of Morgade. However, they seem to be notorious for keeping guests waiting if something else is underway. A lift said to be about 30 minutes away actually took 2 hours to arrive. Breakfast booked for two guests arrived an hour late. It's not very professional but I do hope they improve as its a great place to stay

Pick up wasn't easy due to the lack of English . A very long way out of Portomartin, in fact a little too far after a long day on the Camino. The room was clean and comfortable.||Whilst the family really tried hard the meal was nothing special. Breakfast was coffee and toast......more could be expected.
