La verdad es que el sitio es estupendo. Tiene mucho encanto y es pequeño y acogedor. ||Los dueños son muy atentos y majos, nos ayudaron mucho y nos guiaron por la zona. El sitio es muy bonito con una parte de atrás que da a la bahía con vistas estupendas y rodeado de naturaleza. En el Motel hay una zona principal donde te dan algo de desayuno gratis y hay libros y se puede hacer un fuego. También tiene un telescopio para ver la estrellas de noche. Es el mejor sitio para ir a pasar un fin de semana de relax y alejarse de la civilización. Además, hay muchas cosas que hacer por los alrededores todo bastante cerquita con el coche.

You truly cannot beat the phenomenal views from this utterly charming hotel. I saw geese and egrets as they enjoyed the sparkling waters of the Tomales Bay. The owners are some of the most welcoming and kind people I have encountered and the space is super quaint. I’m counting down the days until I can return here again! And did I mention I was here for a wedding? The couple got married right on the deck with the bay as a stunning natural backdrop. As a wedding planner, I don’t know that I’ve ever had the privilege to work in a more beautiful setting. Thank you Motel Inverness for an epic stay!

Motel This is way better. It's more like an inn. It is very peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. The rooms look out toward Tomales Bay. There is a large common room with books, games, fireplace, comfy furniture, and a deck with patio furniture. There is a kitchenette with mini frig, ice machine, tea, and coffee. Rooms are small but comfortable; beds are comfy. The managers of this property are helpful and friendly. This was an anniversary getaway for us and I have to say, this was an excellent place to stay.

My husband and I wanted to spend a few days exploring Point Reyes National Seashore. We stayed at Motel Inverness based on reviews and location. We are glad we did. Mara and Todd were so nice and helpful in choosing trails and restaurants. Our room was small but we were able to use the lovely lodge room to eat our breakfasts. (Good breakfast sandwiches available from Inverness Park Market just down the road). Dinner at Due West was very good. We loved the Seashore visit, and Motel Inverness.

I believe someone once wrote Motel Inverness has a soulful heart...and we found that genuine goodness to be true everywhere. It is welcoming, old-school, intimate and serene. The motel backs up against stunning Tomales Bay with unobstructed views everywhere. It was so gorgeous.||||There is a great communal room with comfy lounge chairs, a lovely fireplace, board games, a pool table, little frig/microwave, bird-watching lists on black-boards and a wonderful big deck for guests. We stayed in the California Quail room that was cozy, clean and had a comfortable bathroom and little deck facing Tomales Bay as well. The road noise out front is there on summer weekends but in the evening and morning hours, everything was relaxing. And anyway, aren't you out and about in fabulous Point Reyes?||||I can't say enough how much we loved our stay....and the new managers are gracious, friendly and helpful. There is an understanding to be respectful of noise after 9pm and when we were there, everyone was accommodating. The setting is for a peaceful time. I can easily recommend.

The motel was small and quaint. The manager lives on site and was very welcoming and explained all the amenities. We had the twin bed room, which was small but very clean and accommodated our needs for the one night. We will return to the motel again when we can spend more time to explore more of the area, instead of the one night.

Sehr schön am Watt gelegenes Motel. Das Hauptgebäude ist eine Art gemütliches Wohnzimmer, an das sich ebenerdig die Zimmer anschließen. Der Komfort der Zimmer ist äußerst bescheiden, extrem hellhörig, alter abgenutzter Laminatboden, sehr kleines altes Bad. Der Preis verhält sich umgekehrt proportional zum Komfort der Zimmer, so, als wäre die schöne Lage am Watt mit den tausenden Vögeln eine Leistung des Hotels.

Our stay at Motel Inverness was wonderful and we plan to return. Our room was pristine and lovely – soft colors, high quality linens, and super comfy bed. Situated on Tomales Bay, the surroundings are beautiful. We were content to hang out on the big deck looking out at the water and birds with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The spacious common room with its large fireplace and big comfortable couches was also a great place to relax and unwind. The motel is close to beaches, parks, Point Reyes Station, the lighthouse, and some top quality, fun restaurants. The innkeepers, Mara and Todd, are exceptional – they are very knowledgeable about the area. Also, they truly care about the comfort of their guests and treat people with kindness and respect. This is a perfect place for a quiet, peaceful getaway.
