I definitely warmed up to Bravo Hostel, but first impressions are important and this particular one was quite bad. Upon arrival, we were told there were no security lockers left, even though it clearly stated in the confirmation email there would be lockers provided. We were told to leave our valuables in a drawer at the front, as there would always be a receptionist there, but that wasn't the case- there was often no one up at the front. We just left our backpacks in a wardrobe in our dorm and carried our passports and money with us at all times. As for peace of mind, I had none while staying here. ||Bathrooms were alright, but there was quite a collection of hair on the floors. Also the female bathroom garbage was overflowing- really gross. ||As for staff, some were really nice! and some were really standoffish and looked like they didn't want to be there. ||The best part was by far the location. Really close to Las Ramblas and tourist sights. Despite that, I definitely wouldn't stay again.

My big key lock didn't fit the locker, only small ones do. I felt comfortable during my workshop when I had to get up early and for the days off to visit the city. The staff is nice, friendly and decent. The kitchen is small but equipped with all I need. They asked for a front door key deposit and people have difficulties to open the small door in the big front door at first. I found lovely company in a hostel guest, therefore I had an excellent stay, but I can't expect that always.

I stayed at this hostel in a three person room with friends. We chose it because we wanted somewhere cheap but I would definitely not recommend this place to others unless you are used to roughing it. To be fair it was to be expected for the price but was not what I thought it would be at all.||||Good things about the hostel: it was cheap, it had free wifi, the staff were friendly enough, it had free tea and coffee and it was in a posh area of town.||||Bad things about the hostel: it smelt really bad - even when we opened the windows to the courtyard, the sheets were dirty, the room was tiny - there was only really room for the beds, the bathrooms harboured an excessive amount of mould, the location was not very central, the hostel was very noisy and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable with springs poking out of them.

Un po' piccolo, ma accogliente. Quello che mi piace è che ha una terrazza molto grande, dove puoi stare su un dondolo a rilassarti o nei tavoli a mangiare. |La pecca è la dimensione, anche dei bagni, ma alla fine io ci sono andata per un viaggio, e tornavo giusto la sera per fare una doccia, mangiare (la cucina è fornita e giusta di grandezza), e dormire in tranquillità. Veramente a due passi dal centro!

Besides the fact that this place gets way too hot in the summer (seriously, some AC would be a lifesaver!), it's a nice place. We stayed in the 6 bed dorm, perfect size and the beds are comfy. I wouldn't want to stay in a bigger room though, the rooms with more bunks looked super crowded. Good location close to Gracia and the staff's nice.
