My sister and I were looking for property in the area, we stayed at Rosie's for a few nights. Rosie welcomed us from the start and made us feel at home with the lovely accommodation and excellent homemade healthy food. Rosie was full of knowledge about the area and helped us a lot. The accommodation was very cosy and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed having a cup of tea, with a slice of homemade lemon cake surrounded by the pretty courtyard. We loved our stay and would recommend Casa Granadina to anyone.

Die Casa Granadina wird von Rosie, einer Engländerin, die seit 20 Jahren in Spanien lebt, geführt. Es liegt außerhalb eines kleinen Dorfes ca. 30 km von Malaga entfernt in einer sehr schönen schon etwas bergigen Landschaft. Rosie vermietet 2 Zimmer ihres kleinen, charmanten Hauses. Wir wurden ganz herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort wohl. Unser gemütliches Zimmer mit sehr nett gestaltetem Bad lag unter dem Dach. Die Einrichtung war einfach, aber schön und individuell ausgesucht. Alles war peinlichst sauber. Am Abend hat uns Rosie ein excellentes 3 Gänge Menü, teilweise mit Zutaten aus ihrem Garten, gezaubert. Dazu gab es guten regionalen Wein. Wir genossen eine wunderbare Nachtruhe, und am nächsten Morgen hat uns Rosie noch ein wunderbares Gourmetfrühstück serviert. Leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht bleiben. Wir haben uns aber vorgenommen, unbedingt noch einmal länger bei Rosie zu bleiben. ||Ganz in der Nähe liegt auf dem Berg das "weiße" Dorf Comares. Das ist unbedingt einen Auflug wert. Granada und die Sierra Nevada können auch in Tagesausflügen besucht werden.

My husband Rob and I stayed at Casa Granadina for two nights, Rosie made us both feel so very welcome and her house is beautiful. Having lived in rural Spain for four years and visited many different parts of the country, the Axarquia region still takes my breadth away being so very green and tropical.||||I would recommend Casa Granadina for a truly relaxing break, with wonderful walks on the doorstep, fantastic scenery, and the experience to stay in an old traditional spanish finca.

A group of 7 of us spent three nights with Rosie and couldn't have asked for a better host. We were made to feel very welcome in her home and felt completely at ease there. Rosie provided a wonderful breakfast every morning and there were tea/coffee making and cooking facilities if needed. The rooms were very comfortable with towels also provided and a lovely terrace to sit on with the beautiful smell of oranges and lemons drifting by. Highly recommended.

A fantastic long weekend in Rosie's casa. She was a lovely welcoming knowledgable host, who checked in that we were all ok, and joined us when we asked her too. breakfast was slightly different each day, delicious and healthy. We didn't use the indoor sitting area atall, as we were either out and about or sitting in the sunny outdoor area. The orchard is gorgeous, and I had early morning cuppa out there in the peace and quiet. We were there with friends, and had an eventful walk down the river bed behind Rosie's , spotting 4 turtles , a snake, and a gecko within an hour. The area would be brilliant for walking, although we didn't do much. Local bar food was very good, further into the tourist areas, less so. Cameras and Antiquera well worth visiting. Directions to get there were good, and we made it with only one very small detour. Shona and Andreas.

we stayed at casa granadina for a long weekend at the end of febuary, rosie was a fantastic hostess with a huge amount of local knowledge, we were a group of seven and she looked after us very well. the rooms were very comfortable and the buffet breakfasts were delicious. its in a very nice location with a lovely orchard out the back, the little courtyard is a lovely spot to sit and chill out, i would stay there again if we ever return to this part of spain, thank you rosie.

We really enjoyed our long weekend away. Even though we live within a 30 minute drive from Casa Granadina it truly was a break. So peaceful and quiet. Rosie was kind enough to allow us to bring our cat Bailey and when it came time to go home Bailey also wanted to stay!

I prefer to write in french because my english is not good enough to express this time ||spending in la casa grenadina. Nous sommes restés seulement 2 jours mais nous regrettions déjà de partir. Rosie est une hotesse très attentionnée qui nous donne le sentiment d'être à la maison. Il faisait froid en cette saison, mais un feu de bois dans le poele nous attendait et l'accueil des plus chaleureux. Une maison simple et très raffinée à la fois; de petites pièces et une impression d'espace soulignée par le jardin aux orangers.|| Thank you Rosie||Claude
