This is a well-kept and renovated property in historic Colorado Springs. We stayed in room 117 that had a wonderful walk in shower with great hot water pressure. A very thoughtful gift bag with water, fruit and healthy snacks was provided at check-in. The pool was already closed for the season but looked very inviting. Will definitely stay at this property on our next visit.

We could tell that the staff tries to improve and maintain this property, but it fell short on cleanliness and simple structural issues. The door had a big gap with no weather strip which allowed a yellow jacket into the room that we had to chase and dispense. The microwave did not work, and upon examination I saw that it was unplugged. To grab the plug I had to pull the shelf away from the wall which exposed a bird feather, lots of crumbs and part of an apple. The baseboards were also dusty and the black carpet was stained and in need of stretching. The furniture was newish but it just didn’t feel totally clean due to the above issues. I’m sure that you get what you pay for and it did look to be the best of the roadside motels. The AC shuddered and squeaked to life every little while throughout the night, which combined with some girl screaming outside and our neighbors loud boom music, made for a not so restful night. The snack bags were a nice gesture. Paper cups in the room would have been great so I could make the instant coffee I ran out to purchase.

This motel was great! It may not look like much from the outside but the room has been completely updated and was very modern and comfortable. The layout was great with two beds and a completely separated bathroom area. The husband and wife were so nice. Goody bags were provided at checkin. And these were deluxe with fruit, cookies, candy, and bottled water. Very convenient location to sites as well! The only downside was I only stayed one night. Would have loved to stay longer!

Older motel in historic district. Very clean and comfortable. Made reservations with a major booking company, one of our traveling companions came down with COVID. Booking company would not change or refund (I did not pay the extra charge for cancellation). Contacted owners of Garden of the Gods Motel, they were very accommodating on changing dates at no charge. Will stay there again on future trips.

This motel had a great view and it was very nostalgic feeling. The outside was very old-school, but the inside was clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly, though we did have to wait a few minute to check in, as the person minding the desk had gone to check on something in another room. I would absolutely stay here again!

We to Colorado Springs to visit our daughter, son-in-law and grand baby. We were going to stay with her but it was too crowded, so we tried to find the best bang for our buck. We came across many hotels and motels. While going to look at one of the cheaper hotels, we immediately turned around because the location didn’t look safe. I started looking and Garden of the God’s motel jumped out to me. My husband called and put a room on hold for us. We finally got to the motel later that evening and immediately fell in love with the owners and our room. It seems to be newly remodeled. The rooms are clean and cozy. The owners are wonderful. I don’t leave many reviews, but I felt I needed to because I saw some negative reviews and don’t understand how anyone could give a bad review because this place is lovely.

We still have three days till we go back home . I am going to miss this little place. We will for sure be coming back here when we visit Colorado Springs!

My family and I were just needing to pass through and were trying to find something affordable for one night. All the other motel options had unsavory reviews until I found this little gem. I didn't think we would make their check in time as we were stuck in road construction leading into Colorado Springs so I called them and they were kind and said they'd be there waiting, and sure enough they were.

The gentleman who greeted us was very kind and even offered each of us a bag of snacks. So thoughtful! It's a cute, unassuming roadside motel, but their room with two full sized beds we reserved looked like a small hotel room with the basic amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It is small, but you can tell whoever upgraded it put thought into their decisions.

I'm so happy I found this spot, great value. Thank you for giving us a warm, inviting space to come crash at after a long day in the car!
