This small (10 roooms) hotel is located about 10 minutes outside of Haro, conveniently located to connecteing roads to Haro, Ezcaray, Logrono and LaGuardia. We arrived after a red-eye from Boston to Barcelona, a two hour stop in MOntserrat, and four hour drive, and were so relieved that the hotel perfectly matched its pictures and description. Our room had a great view toward Haro, and the setting is very quiet and relaxing. The beds are extremely comfortable -- we both slept almost 10 hours our first night. Bathroom is a bit small, but not at all uncomfortable or lacking. The breakfasts were very well presented, with fresh squeezed orange juice, and a beautiful spread of fruit, meats and cheeses. They also serve eggs if you want. The women concierges were extremely pleasant and helpful, even though we didn't speak Spanish, which we really regret. After driving and eating and drinking our way through so many beautiful places in Rioja, it was always a comfort to come back to this hotel and relax. And on the two nights we chose to go into Haro, it was very convenient to get to and from there. The have a Bodega/restaurant downstairs but it didn't seem open to the public while we were there, but they were serving people, so maybe it was. We were on our honeymoon, and this was our first hotel. We could not have asked for a better place to start our two weeks in Spain!

We regularly travel from Spain through France and seek alternative hotels at a convenient distance from our starting point and close to the motorway. The Rioja region is a perfect area to stop. The countryside is stunning with mountains, vineyards and cultivated field. A patchwork of colour, this trip sunflowers excelled with golden hay and bright green vines. Certainly a good area to explore but we never manage this. ||This hotel has been superbly decorated with contemporary theme. Very pleasing place to stay. Breakfast was excellent from the buffet. As we stayed on a Sunday the kitchen only offered simple menus and we decided to seek alternatives in Haro, just 10 km away. The village itself had no interest to us as mixture of old and new buildings. A fine church but this was closed. Our room was a good size, a small balcony overlooking the valley. A very quiet fan kept us cool at night and no need to use the air on even though the temperature was 34C outside. Very helpful reception, phoning for restaurants and advice admittedly with limited English. However we were in rural Spain and we have no Spanish so very pleased with the help given.

Es un hotelito pequeño con un encanto especial, en un lugar muy tranquilo y cerca de todos los lugares q hay que visitar en La Rioja.|Desde que abrió hace unos años ha ido mejorando cada vez más, la atención en recepción y la limpieza perfecta, y que decir del desayuno increíble un buffet de calidad, con zumo de naranja recién exprimido, un buen café, fruta..., incluso una tortilla de patatas recién hecha. En definitiva excelente, en muchos hoteles con más estrellas no he visto un desayuno así. Un lugar para repetir sin duda. Y en un pueblecito tranquilo y muy bonito

¡Simplemente maravilloso! Nos alojamos en la suite de la buhardilla. Amplísima y con un baño de ensueño. ¡Merece la pena pagar un poco más por ella! Tuvieron el detalle de regalarnos una botella de vino porque era nuestro aniversario. El desayuno fue completísimo para tratarse de un hotel pequeño y de 3 estrellas. El personal muy agradable y la limpieza impecable. Superó con creces nuestras espectativas. Por decir algo que se podría mejorar, la firmeza de los colchones.

We were lucky to get a room at the last minute over the long weekend, at a price that looked too good to be true. But there was no catch - everything was perfect. We were pleased we stayed in Tirgo rather than Haro or another busy town, as those were very crowded and touristy. We enjoyed a very peaceful stay but could still easily visit everything we wanted in the region. The rooms had a five star feel. The breakfast was superb. There was wifi, free parking and a good Asador restaurant next door.

We spent 2 marvellous days in the Rioja Region and the Hotel Solar de Febrer is the perfect hotel, we were with our 3 children, the hotel is spotless clean, the suite was great to have all of us with great amenities in the bathroom and a lot of space. The Courtesy wine and candies for the children on our late arrival was very welcoming. Patricia was very helpful with nutella crepes for the children and booking a very interesting tour in the Wine Museum. We will certainly return to this beautiful hotel.

Very nice interior for a hotel in a tranquil little town outside Haro. Friendly and attentive service, although not in English. The rooms are spacious and welcoming. A good starting point for exploring bodegas, but you need a taxi (15 euros) or car to get around. Be aware that the restaurant is only open in the weekend.

Si os fijáis en mis valoraciones, son poquísimos los hoteles que valoro como muy buenos. Este establecimiento se acerca bastante, casi llega a la excelencia. Creo que el propietario sabe qué le falta para llegar a lo máximo. No obstante merece, y mucho, alojarse en él.||||Lógicamente está orientado a un tipo de turismo, que huya de las aglomeraciones urbanas, del caos y del ruido. ||||Comencemos la descripción: es un casona perfectamente habilitada en un hotel. La habitación que ocupamos tenía una superficie impresionante, no escuchamos ruido del exterior e interior en ningún momento; el baño muy amplio y completo (no le falta nada, absolutamente nada).||||Quiero destacar el personal que trabaja en el hotel, estoy harto de leer valoraciones exageradas del personal de las recepciones de los hoteles cuando en realidad se limitan a hacer su trabajo como autómatas, sin destacar. En personal de este hotel te da la bienvenida, te enseña las instalaciones, te aconseja visitas y rutas, te hace la estancia agradable, y además son muy amables. Qué más se puede pedir.||||Si lo anterior parece exagerado, aún no he mencionado el aparcamiento. Lo tiene y es gratuito.||||En serio, su eres de los que buscas la tranquilidad, visitar bodegas, fantásticos pueblos y relajarte unos días. Reserva, no te arrepentirás. ||||Por cierto, no tengo nada que ver con el dueño del hotel, simplemente, cuando algo es bueno, lo es.
